Jimbee Snack filled with fried garlic and basil vinaigrette

A simple and healthy recipe to enjoy your Jimbee Snack Lettuce

The recipe

Method:

  • Peel the garlic cloves and finely chop them. Heat up a pan with a little extra virgin olive oil and sauté the garlic until brown.
  • In a bowl, add all of the vinaigrette ingredients and mix together.
  • Take a Jimbee leaf and wash it. Add a bed of edible shoots, then use a spoon to add the fried garlic and drizzle generously with vinaigrette.

  • Edible shoots
  • 3 cloves of garlic
  •  
  • Vinaigrette:
  • ¼ cup of extra virgin olive oil
  • Juice of half a lemon
  • Zest of half a lemon
  • 1 teaspoon of garlic powder
  • Basil leaves
