Jimbee Snack relleno Tofu Satay
A simple and healthy recipe to enjoy your Jimbee Snack Lettuce
The recipe
Instructions:
- First, thoroughly drain the tofu, wrap it in baking parchment and allow all the water to be released.
- Prepare the satay sauce by mixing all of the ingredients in a bowl. Set aside.
- Heat up a pan with a little extra virgin olive oil. Dice the tofu and sauté until golden brown. Reduce the heat and add the sauce over the tofu. Cook for a few seconds.
- Take a Jimbee leaf and wash it. Then use a spoon to serve the tofu satay. Add more sauce to finish.
Ingredients:
- Jimbee Snack
- 1 block of tofu
Satay sauce:
- ¼ cup of nut butter, e.g. peanut butter
- ½ cup of plant-based milk
- Juice of one lime
- 2 tablespoons of soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon of extra virgin olive oil
- 2 tablespoon of coconut sugar, whole cane sugar or your favourite sweetener
- 2 clove of garlic, chopped
- 1 piece of fresh ginger
- 1 tablespoon of chilli flakes
